I need feminism because

I need feminism because there are still people who use the term “friend-zone” to put a cute little label on the fact that they believe there is no point in having female friends unless you’ll eventually end up fucking them.
I need feminism because no-one ever tells a woman she is a “good person” for not taking advantage of a man when he’s drunk but apparently when it happens the other way round the man deserves the respect and admiration of everyone he knows just for suppressing his “natural urges” and NOT RAPING HER. I need feminism because I have friends who say things like “he’s such a nice guy” after parties just because no-one harassed them or tried to touch them up whilst they were asleep. And I need feminism because they don’t see anything wrong with this.
I need feminism because there are people who think it is okay to blame the victim, because there are people who believe it is a woman’s only duty to look after and sexually satisfy their husband and because I’ve heard countless people say that victims of rape and domestic violence must have been “asking for it”.
I need feminism because people are still shocked when I express my opinion.
I need feminism because I’m good at maths and I am just as smart as your son.
I need feminism because people still ask what the victim was wearing.
